Lamsah Collective
Lamsah is a global design collective based out of Los Angeles, London and Riyadh with a stated aim to revolutionize the design narrative in the Middle East. We have brought together some of the worlds most celebrated and visionary creatives to design products, furniture, commercial and residential schemes that redefine style in the region. We take our inspiration from the rich history of the Arab world, seen and expressed through the prism of an international design dialogue and embracing the finest twentieth century inspiration.
Lamsah was founded by a group of itinerant travellers and entrepreneurs who saw a region where the design aesthetic had become limited to appropriation, and often refusing to embrace its proud history. They set about assembling a team of creatives, a collective, which would find its inspiration in the region’s cosmopolitan trading culture: a meeting place where East meets West, at once a blend of global influences and yet rooted in its own traditions and history.
With this vision to define a new Arab style, they brought to Lamsah some of the world’s most interesting and celebrated creatives from as far afield as Tokyo, New York, Copenhagen and Paris. For those in the collective, the prospect of helping a whole region define its aesthetic essence for the Twenty First Century was too great an opportunity to miss.
We are based out of our studio in Los Angeles, with offices in London and Riyadh.
